The Model Forest of Newfoundland and Labrador is once again hosting the Forest Ecology Walking Tours in the Humber Valley- Bay of Islands region.
Tours will focus on appreciating the biodiversity of the forest and learning about the many species of plants and animals present within it.
The tours offer students of all ages a chance to visit the boreal forest in their own backyard as they walk along a local walking trail in Corner Brook.
Tours are open to schools, organizations, and individuals.
Tours are free and run from September 28 until the end of October.
For more information or to book your tour, please contact Charlene Connors by calling (709) 637-7300, extension 203.
