I need your feedback regarding Margaret Bowater Park here in Corner Brook
As many of you may know, swimming at Margaret Bowater Park normally starts on July 01. Usually, the gates are lifted and swimming ends around the middle of August when the money from the lifeguard grants run out.
I have been asked by many people to see if was possible to keep the park open for another couple of weeks at the end of August – possibly until the Labour Day Weekend.
What do you think?
Should the City of Corner Brook keep Margaret Bowater Park open for an additional couple of weeks?
I think it is an excellent idea to keep the park open longer.
