The City of Corner Brook is presently accepting student applications for the following temporary positions with the Community Services Department – Leisure Services Division.
The successful applicants must be registered full-time students during the preceding academic year, who also plan to attend a post secondary school on a full-time basis in the fall of 2011.
A First Aid/CPR certificate and a Certificate of Conduct are required, as well as Lifeguarding Certification for the applicable positions.
- Summer Program Co-ordinator
- Summer Program Assistant
- Head Lifeguard (Margaret Bowater Park)
- Lifeguards (Margaret Bowater Park)
- Communications Assistant

The successful applicants must be registered full-time students during the preceding academic year, who also plan to attend a post secondary school on a full-time basis in the fall of 2011. A Class 5 Driver’s License and a Certificate of Conduct are required.
- Environmental Educator (2 positions)
- GIS Data Collector
